Cambridge has an excellent indoor climbing wall at Kelsey Kerridge, which is above the pool at parker's piece right in the centre of Cambridge.
Climbing is a great activity, and is also surprisingly social. Since you can only climb for about 20% of the time.
The wall itself has over 200m² climbing surface area and featuring a huge variety of angles and shapes, including a 40 degree overhanging barrel, arch and multi-faceted features.
There is also full training facilities including a campus board, pull up bar and finger boards.
The majority of the wall is bouldering with no ropes, so you can start straight away.
"I highly recommend its a good climbing wall, we are lucky to have it " Duncan Boltt
