"I am a 58 year old lady, until January I was a heavy smoker and exercise was not and never had been part of my vocabulary.

Following surgery I needed to reassess my lifestyle. The gym was an option for me but it would not have lasted. I had the excellent fortune to meet Duncan Boltt.

Through his encouragement and individual exercise plans he has given me a complete new lease of life. I have gone from no exercise to now exercising everyday. Fitness wise I now cycle, jog and skip. On top of this he has encouraged me to take up golf, badminton and swimming.

"I was bored with doing the same routine at the gym so I decided to train with a Personal Trainer as I also wanted to lose a bit more weight and tone up. "I have been training with Sarah for 3 months now. Although I did go to the gym before I didn’t really do much more than 20 mins on the cardio machines. Sarah has introduced me to a range of exercises and set up a variety of circuits. I didn’t really understand how to use the weights before but now am very familiar with the 10kg bar and the dreaded kettleball.

Sarah is very clever at helping me progress and gradually increase the intensity of the exercises – she also makes it interesting and we never do the same workout twice so an hour goes quickly! She is also very good at motivation and with her support I have lost about a stone and feel much fitter."
